I cannot wait to capture the story of your family in this super fun and quick way! I want you to get the most out of your mini session, so below are tips on how to maximize your mini session!

Tips To Make The Most Of Your Mini!

Tip 1: The Clothing 3 C's

I follow the C trinity for clothing when it comes to portraits: Complimentary, Comfortable, and Captivating!

When it comes to wardrobe, you want to COMPLIMENT not be IDENTICAL. You don't want to match the person right next to you unless you're going for that 90's mall portrait look. The next is COMFORTABLE. Always put on your clothes at least a week prior to your session. Make sure you can move, that it isn't itchy, and that you feel your best in it. Last is CAPTIVATING. Be YOU! Your wardrobe should absolutely match your amazing personality!

Tip 2: Eat, Please.

I don't know about you, but I turn into the grumpy dwarf when I don't eat before a big day! Make sure you and any littles you bring have eaten! Light snacks work great. A quick PB&J, some yogurt and granola, etc are the perfect things to sit on the stomach and make the smiles come a little easier!

Tip 3: Come ready to relax and have fun!

For 15 minutes, my world revolves around YOU! It is my job to capture images that tell the unique story of your family. The best way to do that is to try to come as relaxed as possible. Relaxed parents=relaxed kiddos. So to make sure you have a little time to breathe, you should arrive to your session 5-10 MINUTES EARLY. This just allows wiggle room in case something comes up. Due to the nature of mini sessions, there is no guarantee that I can fit you in if you are significantly late to your session.

Once you're here though, it is time to have fun! We are going to run, play, tickle, etc for all the genuine smiles we can get!

I cannot wait to meet you and your family!
